2. Types of personal data and the purpose of collection and processing
2.1. To make and confirm a reservation, Hotel Troyan Plaza collects and processes the following data:
- When submitting an inquiry via the contact form on the website – the first and last name of the contact person,
contact person’s email address
- When booking by phone – the first and last name of the contact person, a phone number for follow-up, and
Email address for booking confirmation
2.2. The following data is processed and stored for the purposes of identification and accommodation at Hotel Troyan Plaza:
- EGN / LNC
- Name of the person (for Bulgarian citizens—in Cyrillic; for foreign nationals—in Latin script, as stated on the national ID document)
- date of birth, gender, citizenship
- ID card number/valid national identity document; date of issue and expiration date of the document; country that issued the national document,
The data collected for hotel registration purposes is collected pursuant to Article 116, paragraph 2 of the Tourism Act and is necessary for maintaining a register of accommodated tourists.
Your personal data is collected only if you provide it voluntarily. If you do not consent to the disclosure of your personal data, you will not be able to check in at the hotel! You will be asked to present your national ID card, which will be scanned by a special device that extracts only the personal data required for your registration.
2.3. To organize corporate or private events, Troyan Plaza Hotel processes and stores the following data:
- the full name of the event organizer. For corporate events, the contact person designated by the legal entity organizing the event.
- Email address and phone number of the contact person
2.4. Data processed when making a payment to or at Hotel Troyan Plaza****
- Credit or debit card number when paying via a POS terminal at Hotel Troyan Plaza****
- bank account for bank transfers
- Company information on the invoice, if requested by the customer
2.5. For purposes related to the advertising activities of Hotel Troyan Plaza****
- The customer’s email address, name, and phone number for direct marketing purposes—sending current offers, promotions, and discounts
- Email, name, username, and phone number – when organizing games on social media, when appearing in promotional photos
