Culture Feasts in Troyan

Apart from its numerous cultural and historical sights, the town of Troyan is also famous for its Culture Feasts (taking place twice in the year – once in May and once in the autumn) which present the achievements of both local artists and guests from all around the country. There are also a number of events taking place within the autumn Culture Feasts – for instance, the Feast of the Plums and the Plum Brandy (called “slivova rakia”), offering a large number of tasting events and competitions.

Another attractive event taking place in Troyan is the celebration of the Feast Day of St. Spiridon, the patron saint of craftsmen, which feast has been traditionally organized by the Museum of Crafts and the Troyan Craft Fair.
